Q: Why is it Ella es peor que él and NOT Ella es más peor que él?
When you mean "worse", simply write peor (without the words más or menos). To say "the worst", write Ella es la peor.
Q: Why is it Hay tantos hombres como mujeres and NOT Hay tantos hombres que mujeres?
Use the conjunction como with tan and tanto/a(s) NOT que.
Q: Why is it Es la peor de todas las ideas and NOT Es el peor de todas las ideas?
When using peor and mejor, you need to make sure the first word (la) agrees with the noun (idea).
Q: Why is it Él tiene menos de cinco años and NOT Él tiene menos que cinco años?
